Dress "Policy"

We are very relaxed about dress codes. Seriously. When have you ever known Patrick or Shawna to dress up? We have provided the following guidelines mostly so our guests don't feel obligated to wear crazy tuxedos or full suits.

Groomsmen+Ushers: beige dress pants, white dress shirt, brown tie. We will provide the tie.

Guests: "resort casual" - Guys, wear slacks and a shirt with collar. Ladies, please wear your sun dresses!

Ceremony

The ceremony will be on the lawn of the Firefly resort. Friends and family will sit in the sloped grass lawn while Patrick and Shawna will stand near the Gazebo at the water's edge. Verne (preacher, baker, marriage officer, etc.) will preside over the ceremony.

Afterwards, Patrick will load Shawna into a dinghy and row her out to a catamaran. They will sail together to the reception at Lubber's Landing.

Reception

The reception will be at Lubber's Landing. Shawna and Patrick have some history at Lubbers. Back in the summer of 2011, this is where their international modeling careers started. It all started when Austin, the builder and owner of Lubber's, was running out of time to submit an advertisement to a publication called, "The Cruising Guide to the Abaco's". Patrick and Shawna jumped at the chance to have their pictures taken.

In exchange, they were paid in wonderful, delicious, and exotic mixed drinks. Over the course of that trip, many days and nights were spent cozied up to Austin's bar. It became a favorite place to recuperate after a long day of swimming and snorkeling.
